Hope: Burn the Sky

coming soon

A quick update on the paperback release

  • The first version of the map on the fist page had the image set to full bleed, as margins didn’t look as nice. Discussing the limited view of the main parts of the map (Hope) with Amanda, I put on a border of burnt edges. This still left parts of the map hard to see.

  • The map will need to be modified slightly to enlarge the font for Hope and The Archive (bottom right). The rest of the book looks great with the minor changes applied.

  • Once I have edited the map, it takes a few business days for IngramSpark to release the manuscript for printing.

  • Amanda and I apologise for the release date being pushed back the week of the 28th of July.

Hope, the first book in the Burn the Sky duology, has been re-released in July 2025, with the second book, Redemption, expected in December or earlier.

After that?

A new trilogy is in the works, set five years after the events of Burn the Sky. It picks up in the aftermath—new threats rising, old scars unhealed, and the same broken solar system still tearing itself apart.

The trilogy spans this fractured system, filled with factions willing to do whatever it takes to stay in power—or take it.

In the middle of it all is Ash, a pilot given a ship, a crew, and a job.
Simple on paper. But nothing stays simple for long.

Deterministic time travel isn’t the easiest story to write or plot, so this is taking time to flesh out. I expect a full rough draft to be finished this year.
